Getting to Western Newfoundland

As an island in Atlantic Canada, just getting to Western NL is an off-the-beaten-track adventure. Luckily, there are air and sea options that suit every traveller.

Deer Lake Regional Airport is located in the Humber Valley and Bay of Islands Region. It's a 25-minute drive to Gros Morne National Park and a 30-minute drive to Marble Mountain Resort.

Marine Atlantic ferries arrive on the Southwest Coast in the Town of Channel-Port aux Basques.
